Bought this because it was recommended as the best value for the money on America's test kitchen. If you don't want to spend $$$ for the high priced Chef's knife, then this is a quality choice. Stays sharp, well balance for my liking.

works as described (and expected). no single lump found. does not take much effort to shake either. no leaks of any sort. i made a shake and took it to the gym and it has lived up to the price.

Excellent brush--easy to hold, cleans vegetables and fruits like a champ and is a very reasonable price. Freshly dug carrots, spuds, and beets from my garden clean up in a jiffy with this brush, yet it's bristles are gentle enough to scrub tomatoes or zucchinis without bruising or tearing the skin. It also speedily scrubs off those pesky prickly nubs on cucumbers. After my outstanding experience with this brush, I have bought several more to give as part of a Oxo kitchen gadget basket for bridal shower gifts. You won't be sorry if you purchase this brush to clean your veggies and fruit. (I also use it to clean up my hands after working in the garden--it's gentle, but strong enough to cleans up all the dirt in the nooks and crannies of fingers and hands.)

I made my first batch of waffles in this genius little machine today; it makes better waffles than any other I've tried and the procedure is simpler, too. The very reasonable price (at amazon; it seems to be more expensive elsewhere) and the fact that it stores upright make it a worthwhile appliance in my small kitchen. I love it.

Worked like it said. Bowel froze very quickly, not very loud ice cream came out great.

We have a Duo & an Uno that I use for my son's lunch (he's almost 5). He can easily open & close both containers. In the Duo I put things like crackers, fruit, nuts, raisins, cheese etc.& in the Uno I put his sandwich/wrap/pizza/etc. wrapped up in a "Wrap & Mat" Wrap-And-Mat Food Pouch and Eating Mat I also put things like carrot sticks in with his sandwich inside the Wrap. The Wrap doubles as a place mat or a napkin. I put both of these tins in the fridge before he leaves for school then they stay nice & cool in a NY Built bag Built NY® Gourmet Getaway, BLACK along with a Kleen Kanteen water bottle.
I have had the containers for a few months now & have not experienced any chipping of the paint that others mentioned & I don't put mine in the dishwasher. The tins seem well made, no rough edges. I also find them very useful to take with us on outings on the weekends - they hold plenty of snacks for my 2 yr old & his older brother.

I'm happy with our Back to Basic Canning Kit. I am a beginner canner and the tools are easy to handle.
