When I first listened to this CD, I listened to it on my stereo with my headphones on. I did not like it all that much at first, because the tones I was hearing sounded like, and reminded me of, being near a loud engine on a helicopter, a propellor airplane, and/or a large ferry boat engine. The tones I heard (with my headphones on) just sounded like a lot of loud mechanical humming, pattering, and buzzing noises--which did not sooth or impress me at all. I felt (at first) that I had just wasted my money on an expensive piece of quackery, and a big disappointment.

But then I decided to try listening to this same CD with my big stereo speakers on, and my headphones off. After listening to this same CD through my big stereo speakers, I almost immediately started getting tingles all over my body. I began relaxing inside and out of myself. The sounds on this CD were resonating and reverberating thoughout my living room and all through my body and mind. The tones coming from this CD were greatly enhanced by playing them through my big external stereo speakers. The resonance and ambiance of the tones on this CD were well matched with, and greatly enhanced by the good sized external stereo speakers I was playing them through. The difference between listening to these tones through my stereo speakers instead of through my headphones was like night and day in comparison. I started feeling like I was entering a completely different state of mind, body, and emotions while listening to this CD through stereo speakers. I then began using the E.F.T.(Emotional Freedom Techniques) on myself as I listened to this recording, and became more and more at ease and feeling great as I proceeded with the E.F.T. tapping techniques while I was listening to this recording.

After I finished doing the E.F.T. tapping sequences on myself, I just sat back on my couch and felt a big rush of endorphines and vibrations flow throughout my body, brain, and emotions while these tones were still playing on this CD. When I finished listening to this entire CD (about 50 minutes in length) I felt great afterward and throughout the rest of the day and evening.

In MY opinion, this is not a great CD to listen to with headphones on--And I have a great pair of high quality studio-grade headphones to listen through. But I do highly recommend listening to this CD through a decent pair of external stereo speakers with good bass projection that will enhance the tones and vibrations that come from this CD and reverberate throughout your body and in the room that you are listening to this recording in. It really seems to make a big difference (To ME) when I can feel this recording vibrate on the outside of my body while listening to it through external speakers that project the tones of this CD where it can be felt and registered around the outer parts of my body and nervous system.

I don't think that the tones that come from this CD are very pretty or melodic in any musical sort of way. But the tones on THIS CD do both vibrate and feel really good on the inside AND outside of my body when being played through the proper external speakers, living space acoustics, and volume levels. If you are looking (and listening) for a Theta Brainwave CD that sounds PRETTY and has music-like tubular bell sounds, then you might want to check out the: Theta Meditation System that is for sale on amazon.com by various sellers, for resonable new and used prices. I found that the Theta Meditation System by Dr. Jeffery Thompson CD to be both pretty sounding, and much better to listen to with a decent pair of stereo headphones than this CD is.

One reviewer of this CD wrote that he thought that this CD was as important to using EFT as water was to swimmers. I don't agree with that. In fact, I think that it is more the other way around; I think that using E.F.T. while listening to THIS CD is more beneficial to the CD than the CD is to E.F.T.. In other words; I think that using E.F.T. while using this CD is very helpful in enhancing THIS CD yes. However, I think that using E.F.T. is MORE helpful to THIS CD than this CD is helpful to E.F.T.. Now don't get me wrong, I think that this CD is definitely a way of augmenting and enhancing E.F.T.. However, I think that EFT is MORE enhancing to this CD than this CD enhances E.F.T.. You will more likey appreciate this CD if you use EFT with it than you would if you just sit back and listen to this CD by itself.

I am definately very glad that I purchased this CD, and I recommend this CD to other potential buyers--if they use it the way I described above.

I own and have listened to many CD's for massage over the years and this is my new favorite. It's so nice to have a CD that is not the same ole boring massage music. The guitar sounds are very nice with a hint of ocean sounds in some of the background songs. I recommend this to therapists that like to be inspired by music while giving a massage.

If you are a fan of the movie you'll enjoy this cd. I wish they would have put in another cassette into the recorder and recorded more because I just could not get enough of these gals. I wish they would have recorded more with BIG EDIE also but she was not feeling well but what they did record was nice of BIG EDIE in her final months of life. You do learn new things in this cd but I don't understand why little Edie whispered. She did not want her mom to hear? She does state that her mom was mad at her. Even though she does whisper a few times it's nothing that important so it does not take away from this rare recording which we should be happy they shared with the public. I can't understand why a few people leave negative comments about this cd. Don't believe it at all because if you are a fan it's another piece to the puzzle. I wish there were a few more pics but it's worth the price. Thank you for releasing this cd.

Although I ordered the HGH Delta Sleep CD (another one by Dr. Jane Maati Smith) from , I received this CD by error. I then decided to keep the CD and give it a try, not knowing I was in for a big surprise! After listening to the CD, I was amazed by how I felt - a surge of light euphoria, calmness, and energy. The frequencies in this CD were definitely producing endorphins! As a chronic Lyme disease sufferer, this surge of endorphins also helps to ease the pain I continuously have in my body. Now I listen to this CD almost everyday, especially in the morning, to get my day started.

With this positive experience, I went ahead and ordered two more CD's by Dr. Jane Maati Smith. I can't wait to listen to them and see what more positive effects they will bring.

The soundtrack from the film 'Restoration' is a wonderful interpretation by contemporary composer James Newton Howard of the baroque sensibilities of England during the restoration of Charles I. There are 31 selections on the CD, of which 9 are the works of Henry Purcell, 1 is the work of Marin Marais, and the other 21 selections are by James Newton Howard. The 9 selections from Henry Purcell include work from his "Fairy Queen", "King Arthur", and "The Indian Queen". Notice that it was then in fashion to have composers write music about monarchy. Prior to the restoration of Charles I, puritan dictator Cromwell ruled England and outlawed most secular music and all theater. Thus with the restoration of Charles I we see an out bursting creativity as evidenced by the elegant works of Henry Purcell. We really know very little about Purcell other than in a three year period of production he produced 1,000 compositions. He died at age 35 like Mozart. He is buried in Westminster Abbey next to Vaughn Williams. He is a mysterious genius but his music is exactly what would have been heard in the court of Charles I, William and Mary, and Queen Anne. James Newton Howard's compositions follow a few basic musical themes on which he has created variations depending on the dramatic scenes in the film that they accompany. However this does not really distract from the soundtrack since there is a blending of the works that makes the distinctions between tracks seem to melt into each other. Howard's ability to compliment Purcell's elegance and graceful work is to be commended.
