Entertainment Weekly offers good snapshop
Entertainment Weekly (1-year auto-renewal)
Entertainment Weekly has been my go to source for reading about upcoming movies, books, music, and TV Shows. I especially love the condensed format of this weekly that provides a good balance between photos and written content.

Pros
- Affordable ($10 when on sale)
- Concise
- Assigns letter grades to reviews

Girlie Mag
Cosmopolitan (1-year)
I started getting my subscription within a few weeks. I've read about other people having problems getting them, but this didn't happen to me. I got a great price too, so I'm happy!

The next step after Cosmo for the 30+ crowd
Glamour (1-year)
I really enjoy this magazine! I ordered this mag along with Cosmo - I enjoy reading this 100x more than Cosmo, which is downright insulting. I enjoy the fact that Glamour focuses more on things that affect our every day life, rather than just sex, how to land a man, and more sex like Cosmo. I am 32 & married, and find the articles in this magazine very intersting & informative. I like the beauty advice too!

If you have grown out of Cosmo, than I would definitely recommend you move up to Glamour :)

I look forward to this magazine.
Popular Science (1-year)
Having subscribed to Popular Science Magazine for the past three years, I have to say there is always something interesting and enlightening in every issue. The appeal of the magazine is more geared toward those interested in science fiction, tinkering, conceptual thinkers, and/or early adopters of new technologies. I can see where the appeal can lack for others as you can see from other reviews, but if you match any of the above groups that may be of interest, head to a local supermarket and thumb through a copy.

If you like what you see, ten dollars is more than fair for the interesting and thought-provoking stories you'll find every month.

Some good recipes
Vegetarian Times (1-year)
I'm not a vegetarian anymore, but I am a very healthy eater and love to eat vegetables, so I thought Vegetarian Times would be a great source of new recipes for me. It was okay, but Eating Well definitely gave me more recipes I can use. I've only received one issue so far, and found very few recipes that inspired me to tie on an apron and turn up the music in my kitchen. Perhaps it was just this issue, since it did feature a fairly large section on "live foods" and I've never been a big fan of the raw food movement. Give me my veggies sauteed and broiled, roasted or boiled! I'm looking forward to future issues and expect I will find quite a few recipes I can use, but for me, Eating Well magazine is a much better investment.

Awesome deal on an awesome magazine
Popular Mechanics (1-year)
I've been a Popular Mechanics reader for a long time, so to me the product itself needs no review; that said I'll try to provide a mini review.

Popular Mechanics is an excellent source for DIY projects and knowledge, and profiles/reviews of new technology. This is one of the few periodicals that I have no problem reading cover to cover every month; the other being Popular Science (and yes they do have different, though sometimes similar, content). The ability to sign up for a two year subscription through considerably cheaper than anywhere else is just the icing on the cake.

I would buy this again, buy this for a friend/family member, recommend this to an acquaintance, and keep it from an evil genius.

Timely TIME
TIME (1-year)
The magazine always arrives 1 full week before it shows up in stores.

The articles usually have a fair amount of depth to them, and there's usually a few articles about events that I'm not even aware of from TV and reading news articles online.

Overall, it's a pretty good magazine. Definitely worth the 40 cents/week.

Good for free.
Wired (1-year)
Very good articles. I have received two issues since getting this for free. I have found at least 3 or 4 articles in each issue worth reading. Not only interesting, but have increased my knowledge on the subject matter.

I love when Oprah visits my mailbox
O, The Oprah Magazine (1-year)
I love that Oprah's magazine feels like all the best parts of her show. I appreciate how uplifited and a little bit more in the know I feel after reading each issue.
